Carlton forward Jarrod Pickett has been rushed to hospital, after he suffered a suspected knee injury at Ikon Park on Thursday morning.
The injury, which could be a ruptured ACL, occurred at the Blues’ last training session for 2018.
In an awkward incident, Pickett’s knee buckled from underneath him, as coach Brendon Bolton looked on in disbelief.
Earlier this month co-captain Sam Docherty was ruled out for all of 2019, after rupturing his ACL at training for the second season in a row.
