Most disposals
Tom Mitchell $3.50
Collingwood leading goal kicker
Jamie Elliott – already under injury cloud and on seasons past will miss games, no value in the $2.50 on offer
Alex fasolo – bit of an X factor but odds at $2.75 not worth it will probably spend more time on the ball and is still inconsistent.
Ben Reid – the game plan and for Collingwood structure he is a must up forward but will either end up down back again when Pies start losing or injured would want at least $15 minimum not the $3.50 on offer.
Darcy Moore – young son of a gun who showed more than enough last year to be the leading forward for the Pies at $10 is the value pick of the bunch
GWS
Jeremy Cameron $2.40
bang on odds and last years leader. More durable than Patton $2.50 who could easily have won but missed a few games with injury, with Greene $3.25 so explosive and likely to miss a few games with suspension again stick with the reliable Cameron.
Port Power
Dixon under the odds at $1.80 but a likely winner, Robbie Gray and wingard probably not worth looking at the one at big odds is jack watts $12. Showed already as a permanent forward he doesn’t need a lot of the ball to kick goals. May see Dixon float up more around CHF and Watts at Full Forward. Will only be a few goals separating them at the end of the season. Take the overs on Watts
Adelaide Crows
Betts or Walker, Walker or Betts….. 1 goal split them last season and could come down to that again this season. You don’t have to look much further than these two, Jenkins will put a few on but never really threaten. Betts is a freak around goal but Walker the main target, with Cameron gone will this hurt or help Betts kick more or less. 2016 Betts dominated with 75 goals only behind the great Modra for most goals ever kicked in a season by a crow. Think Betts can sneak past him again this season in another tight one.
