Historic night at the AFL tribunal as Richmond’s Bachar Houli had his suspension raised to four games after the AFL appealed the tribunals original decision.
Houli was involved in a behind the ball incident where he threw his arm back at the Carlton player Lino king him out leaving him motionless in the middle of the MCG.
The Tribunal originally handed down a two match ban after the use of testimony from Prime Minister Turnball and gold Logie winner Waleed Aly.
There was a fair bit of public out cry about the decision and the AFL thought the sentence to lenient and the appeal was upheld and the ban increased from two games to four.
