Round 6 Sunday Preview

Sunday Footy doesn’t get much better than this, 2 undefeated sides going head to head with the Crows and Tigers, the Cats in action again against the Pies and the very intriguing battle between the Dons and Demons.
Essendon v Melbourne

This game has a lot to offer both sides trying to claim a spot inside the top 8 both desperate to keep their seasons on track, the Demons started the season with two great wins but have faulted the last couple weeks letting winnable games slip. The Bombers also started the season with two wins then faulted but sprung to life in the Anzac Day clash. Both sides have made five changes to their sides this week which is never a great sign. So hard to line up their form lines and their previous few meetings have been all close contests, statistically they are almost identical so the result will hinge on the X factor of goths teams. the Dee’s will be missing Hogan which is a big loss, but get back Bugg and Lewis. Essendon on a slightly shorter turn around but both teams played very physical matches in round 5.
Predict Essendon win by 1 point
Bet tip Either team under 15.5 points $2.75

Geelong v Collingwood

Cats go 6-0 will be the headline here, and Tic Toc the clocks ticking on Buckley will be the other. The Cats and Magpies match up well in the mid field and defensively but it is in attack that the Cats get on top here they will be too strong and too accurate for the Magpies spluttering forward line. Collingwood will find some hope and belief in the fact that they have beaten Geelong the last two times they played. Geelong are one of the most efficient sides when going inside 50 while Collingwood one of the worst and there seems to be no quick fix for the Pies it’s going to take a couple big changes.

Geelong are flying but have been leaving some of there runs until late in games behind some brilliance of Selwood and Dangerfield.
Predict Geelong win by 37 points
Bet tip Game total under 189.5 $1.90 Geelong under 13.5 behinds $1.80

Adelaide v Richmond

Two undefeated teams going head to head in what should be a classic match, the Tigers are going well but they are not going Adelaide type of well. When would you ever find two teams 5-0 with 6 goal betting line, that is how good the Crows have been this year. Make no mistake Richmond will be around in the last few weeks of the season but the Crows will show them the difference between being a contender and a pretender. Both sides are very attacking and play on at all cost and run hard to break lines the Crows use the handball better than most sides and they run harder than ,ost and just grind the opposition with constant pressure. Richmond are yet to face a side like this and will be their biggest test so far this season they will be full of confidence and will have patches in the match of absolute brilliance but it will be the Crows that will march their way to another victory on the back of their supreme forward line.
Predict Adelaide win 38 points
Bet tip game total over 196.5 $1.90
