Round 4 Monday Footy

Hawthorn v GeelongThe 5 days of footy fun comes to an end today and what better a game to have than one of the competitions most hotly contested rivals of the past decade. For the first time in a long time the Hawks find themselves in winless after 3 games and staring down the barrel against an undefeated Geelong side who are building with some nice momentum. Dangerfield is at his Brownlow best and Hawkins and Menzel have been dominant in front of goal. The Hawks on paper are as strong as ever but are just lacking that spark O’meara is out today which stops a lot of the Hawks run and against a Cats midfield that is in the best couple in the league they are going to need something special from a few to kickstart their season. The Cats are cruising and are yet to hit top gear a couple last quarter bursts have got them over the line. Expect the Hawks to come out very hard early they just must to have any chance, but it won’t be enough the Cats will get on top and pull away to win.
Predict Cats win 17 points
Bet tip Cats under 13.5 behinds $1.90
