Melbourne v Fremantle Saturday kicks off with the rejuvenated Dockers making the trip to the G to face the Demons, the Dockers coming off an big upset win against the dogs will look to continue that good footy today. The Dockers have a big advantage in the ruck with Gawn out for the Demons with a hammy. Most will think the Dockers are a real chance for an upset again this week but I can’t see it happening outside of W.A. At the MCG the Demons are a better side and the Dockers do not travel well and still will struggle to kick a winnable score. Even with the few outs the Demons have they play such an even team game very reminiscent of coaches Roo’s n Goodwin and the Swans n Crows.

Match of the day between these two and it should be a cracker! The Giants are starting to find some good form and although they have been patchy they have had two solid wins, Jeremy Cameron is red hot in front of goal as has Toby Greene and if these two can keep up there current run will go a long way to getting the Giants over the line. Wines is putting his hand up as an early Brownlow leader and Gray has been brilliant they will need a lift from Hoff and Wingard to have a real chance here. This should be high scoring and free flowing and would love to see a good old fashion shoot out!

The Bombers came crashing back down to earth last week and they will fall a little further today, the Crows will rip the Bombers apart at some point in this game it’s what they do they are relentless. The only chance the Bombers have is if the Crows have their traditional slow start and they can turn it on and be in front by 7 goals at quarter time even then it may not be enough to stop the Crows from winning. The crows have the Bombers covered in every area of the ground and will get another win and sit comfortably on top of the table.

Both coming off very gutsy wins and most impressively the way the Suns dismantled the Hawks making a big statement that Ablett is still one of the best to ever take the field. The Blues ground out a gutsy win against the Bombers and if they can keep that all in attitude they are a serious chance of getting back to back wins here, unfortunately I think the Suns class (hard to say that after the first 2 rounds) will get them over the top in this game something looks like it had awoken in the Suns last week and the confidence they take into this game will be enough.
